Just look at how much better traffic flows without them.

I’ve been using RoboForm for a few years, which means I’m able to use a different, strong, randomly generated password for every web site I register at. I’ve just been invited to get today’s free update which includes the following new feature:
Woohoo! I used to keep the password on the clipboard after creating an account, log out of the website, navigate to the login page and paste my password in for RoboForm to remember. No more!

It’s time to say “bye bye” to Dapper Drake and a cheerful “hello” to Edgy Eft. Upgrade instructions are here.
Update: Seems I was lucky. I didn’t have any problems (I didn’t use what is apparently the “official” method, as I did it all via a SSH terminal), but be sure to do a bit of research before your upgrade!
Note to self: Stop putting a “woohoo” in every single post…

If you’re one of the few remaining people on the planet that don’t yet know the joy of the golden question mark, you might be interested in a free 10 day trial (although it’s free as in “enter your credit card number just in case”).
If you are, then be sure to create an Alliance character on Thunderhorn and say “hi” to Throng…

Thanks to Download Squad I had a brief fiddle with Line Rider last week and found it very hard to get the poor guy to do anything other than fall off. This video illustrates how it’s done.

It’s about time I bigged up the things that get me through the day - here they are.
Not much to say about these that hasn’t already been said, except “so good it’s scary.”
One of the best-kept Getting Things Done secrets there is. This is a web app based entirely on David Allen’s words, and it’s fantastic. It was developed by one man, Rainer, for his own purposes, and he’s very kindly allowed anyone to make an account on his server and benefit from his hard work.
It’s currently in V2, and Rainer is apparently working on an Ajaxy V3 which will be great to see. He’s also planning to go commercial, introducing a second tier of service for a subscription fee, and by the sound of it there are plenty of people waiting to hand over money (me included!). If you’ve struggled to find a seamless GTD task manager then give it a try - you won’t regret it. But don’t tell anyone - we don’t want the server to get overloaded!
The only thing I miss from the Outlook days is syncing tasks with my Pocket PC, but iCommit is so good I don’t really care.
del.icio.us is one of those services that is so straightforward that it’s easily forgotten. I recently rediscovered it though, and the official Firefox add-on makes tagging easier than ever. It’s hidden away in the “thanks for creating your account” page so if you’re an existing member you might have missed it, so get it here.
2520 photos and counting, so it must be good
I started using del.icio.us to make a wish list (well, Christmas is around the corner) and I found this. It’s definitely not as cool as del.icio.us, but it’s a bit friendlier for non-geeks and boasts some features specifically for managing a wish list. Unfortunately the kids have put theirs on there too…
