What’s new:

Improved performance when dealing with multiple simultaneous
connections.

Improved handling of items with no description –
the contents of the web page pointed to by the item is now used for the message body,
and most graphics and links will now work correctly.

Now reports PopHeadlines is being used when communicating
with web servers.
-
When an item has no title, the message subject is
set to the description which could result in very long message subjects. Long subjects
generated in this way are now truncated to 80 characters.

This has been a shrewd move by the Pentagon. They’d have known full well that
it’s far too controversial for them to
do, but why not someone else? They’ve planted a seed and left it for someone
else to grow. Somebody somewhere will take
this idea and implement it; all the Pentagon has to do is sit back and collect information
from the results.
The Pentagon abandons plans to set up an online trading market for bets on future
terrorist attacks.
